Most Anticipated Book Releases for June, July and August 2019

I miss doing this type of blog posts.  I miss looking at the upcoming books and trying to hype myself up for these books.  Just like last time, I will just share a few books that I see myself reading these books or because they have really interesting topics.

I have listed a few books, some I know a few things about but most of them, I have no idea what it is about.  I just see them in BookTube and Bookstagram.  That has been my basis when it comes to new releases or upcoming releases.  I follow a lot of people that I can tell that we have the same taste in books.

?? Patrons Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay

This a Filipino written book set in the Philippines and it tackles the topic of the drug war going on in the country.  I am quite interested in reading this book because I want to see how others perceive this war.  I want to know their thoughts and how the main character could do something about it.  That is the only thing I know about this book but I’m really looking forward to it.

?? Fake It Til You Break It by Jenn P. Nguyen

Another Asian book.  I love me some Asian books.  Being Asian, I want to see more representation in YA books plus, I received an email letting us help choose the final cover of this great book.  I know I voted for the cover it has today!  I honestly don’t know what this book is about, but I am still interested in reading this.

?? Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare

Another Shadowhunter book.  As most of you already know, I am behind the series but I am catching up and I am excited to binge my way through all the released books.  Even if this is just a bind-up novella, it is still exciting to read this to get more information for the books.

?? Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

I just added this book today because one subscription box is probably going to have this book in their box.  I badly want to get that box but I cannot afford it for now.  But this book screams ACOTAR for me.  And if you have been in this blog for so long, you’d know that I’m a trash for Sarah J. Maas.

?? Maybe This Time by Kasie West

Ever since Kasie announced she was releasing a new book this year, I got so excited!  Then she released a chapter sampler and I was so tempted to read it but I ended up not reading it because I always go into books blind.  That’s how I enjoy most of the books I read.  I just trust my favorite authors with what they read.

?? Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim

I honestly don’t know what this book is about but I think I have signed a blog tour for this book so that I could read it.  I hope I could read it as soon as I can.  I know this is very bad, but I love the cover and it’s something I’m drawn to!

?? Sea Witch Rising by Sara Henning

The first book in this series or trilogy (??) was Sea Witch, I badly want to read that particular book but I cannot find a copy anywhere.  But with this book coming so close, I know I will pick them up.  I love to read more mermaid or something similar.

Those are the books on my most anticipated list for the next three months.

?? What books releases are you excited about for June, July or August?

I cannot wait to preorder some books soon because I need them books in my life.  I just hope our bookstore in this city would reopen soon because I need a little trip to the bookstore soon!
