ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR LAA ILAA HA ILLALAH.
ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, WA LILLAHIL HAMD.
Eid Mubarak to all Muslims no matter when you celebrated Eid. May Allah accept our Ibadah and forgive us sins. Eid Ul Fitr marks the end of the month of Ramadan so we say farewell to the blessed month, it’s beautiful days and fragrant nights. Insha Allah our good deeds will be rewarded and may we continue to live our lives like and praise Allah like everyday is Ramadan.
So this year’s Eid had a special theme which has been trending since yesterday. It was named after New York’s very own MET GALA which made this year EID MET GALA and I couldn’t be left out so I joined the train with my very own MUSLIMET GALA. Let’s get into my ICONIC LOOKS (lol).
YELLOW/GOLD for the win! This year, I decided to go with a getzner and give the laces and Ankara some rest (lol).
My choice of color was solely based on my skin type and what will most compliment my skin and it did justice. Not forgetting how the morning sun came through for me.
Getzners usually come plain and are designed into many beautiful styles. I went off with my getzner with some crystal stones embellishments which made it look more regal.
STRIKES A SOLID POSE IN VERY SOLID HEELS>>>>>
Dress – getzner designed and made by my sweet aunty.
Purse – Modanisa
Veil – Gift
Jewelry – Gift
I didn’t forget to wear lashes (lol) I’m just not a huge fan of it because my natural ones does it for me even though it can’t really be seen here probably because of the angle this shot was taken and the lights.
You know there’s always an UP CLOSE & PERSONAL. Makeup and headpiece credits to me! I definitely did good on that subtle look and beautiful headpiece featuring my jewelry set and that slight mean mugging.
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT REGAL! ??
PS: I celebrated Eid on Tuesday and I’m still for the rest of the week lol. EID MUBARAK AGAIN LOVELIES.
